EVALUASI KINERJA SUATU SIMPANG BERSINYAL DI KOTA BANDUNG

The population of Bandung City which increases every year causes traffic congestion problems, especially at many intersections, including signalized intersections. This study was conducted on a signalized intersection located on Jalan Soekarno Hatta-Mohammad Toha, in the City of Bandung. The data used is data obtained directly from the field, and the analysis was carried out with the help of the Vissim Program. This study shows that the majority of motorbikes move at an intersection with a speed of 35 km/hour. While the majority of light vehicles, buses, and heavy vehicles move at speeds of 36 km/hour, 39 km/hour and 35 km/hour respectively. During traffic congestions, the longest queues at this intersection occur at the intersection of Jalan Mohammad Toha towards U-S, with a length of 226 meters and an average of 186.14 m/hour, and at the intersection of Jalan Mohammad Toha towards S-U, with a length of 226 meters and an average of 116.57 m/hour.

Abstrak
Jumlah penduduk Kota Bandung yang bertambah setiap tahun menimbulkan masalah kemacetan lalu lintas, khususnya di banyak simpang, termasuk di simpang bersinyal. Pada studi ini dilakukan kajian terhadap simpang bersinyal yang terletak di Jalan Soekarno Hatta-Mohammad Toha, di Kota Bandug. Data yang digunakan adalah data yang diperoleh langsung dari lapangan, dan analisis dilakukan dengan bantuan Program Vissim. Studi ini menunjukkan bahwa mayoritas sepeda motor bergerak di simpang dengan kecepatan 35 km/jam. Sedangkan mayoritas kendaraan ringan, bus, dan kendaraan berat bergerak dengan kecepatan masing-masing sebesar 36 km/jam, 39 km/jam, dan 35 km/jam. Pada saat macet, antrean terpanjang di simpang ini terjadi di lengan simpang Jalan Mohammad Toha arah U-S, dengan panjang 226 meter dan rata-rata 186,14 m/jam, dan di lengan simpang Jalan Mohammad Toha arah S-U, dengan panjang 226 m dan rata-rata 116,57 m/jam.
