Abstract

The food and beverage industry is a sector that has the highest growth rate and plays an important role in Indonesia's economic growth. However, other sectors also continue to strive for development in order to attract investors who are increasing over time. This intense competition requires companies in the food and beverage sub-sector to improve their performance in order to attract investors who play an important role in firm funding.

The method used for this research is the hypothetico-deductive method, with Eviews 12 software to assist data processing. Existing data and hypotheses will be analyzed by several tests, including descriptive statistical tests, classical assumption tests, hypothesis testing, and coefficient of determination tests.

The results of this study indicate that firm size and capital structure partially have no effect on firm value. Meanwhile, profitability is proven to have an effect on firm value. However, firm size, profitability, and capital structure simultaneously have an effect of 54.57% on firm value. Thus, it can be concluded that changes in firm value can be explained quite well by the three independent variables. Future researchers are expected to expand research by using other indicators or adding other independent variables that are considered capable of influencing firm value.
