Aim and Scope
Contemporary Public Administration Review (CoPAR) is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal that provides a platform for multidisciplinary, interdisciplinary, and transdisciplinary studies in the field of public administration. The constant change and adaptation of the public sector often create knowledge gaps in understanding how governance affects, and is affected by, the public.
The focus of CoPAR is to bridge these gaps by promoting transformative, empirical, and solution-oriented research that addresses contemporary challenges in public administration across diverse contexts. Our scope includes, but is not limited to, digital government, collaborative governance, public policy, public management, public organization, politics and policy, public economics, digital society, inclusive public services, disaster and crisis management, decentralization, environmental policy, and other contemporary and emerging issues in public administration.
The journal prioritizes contributions that are based on rigorous research, sound methodology, and adherence to high scientific and ethical standards. CoPAR is published biannually in February and August.
