Editorial Process
JoSC Article Editorial Process Flow:
- The author is submitting the process.
- The chief editor conducts an initial review for the manuscript's compliance with the JoSC manuscript template and a plagiarism check. The manuscript will be checked by iThenticate and should have a plagiarism score of no more than 25%.
- The JoSC editor will send manuscripts that meet the initial review requirements to two peer reviewers (using the double-blind peer-review technique) for the review process.
- The peer reviewer conducts the review, then provides comments on the review results, which are provided to the author, and provides recommendations to the JoSC editor.
- The editorial board makes the final decision based on the recommendations of peer reviewers.
- The accepted work will be sent for amendment by the author, if necessary, based on the peer review results.
- Revised manuscripts (or those that do not require revision) will go through copyediting and layout editing before being produced as the final version (the article that will be published).
- The final version is shown to the author, who is given time to do author proof (approval of the article's content). The author is not authorized to edit the article's content anymore.
- The final version of the manuscript, approved by the author, is delivered to the editor-in-chief for final assessment.
- The editor-in-chief publishes the article in the specified issue.
